Milton Glaser

Milton Glaser (1929–2020) was a legendary American graphic designer best known for creating the iconic “I ♥ NY” logo and the psychedelic Bob Dylan poster. Born in New York City, Glaser studied at the Cooper Union and later in Bologna, Italy, before co-founding the influential Push Pin Studios in 1954. In 1968, he co-founded New York magazine. Glaser's work spanned posters, logos and branding. He received numerous honors, including the National Medal of Arts in 2009, becoming the first graphic designer to do so.
